The landfilling of Gypsum (Sulphate) with other biodegradable wastes has been prohibited in England and Wales since July 2005. Producers are therefore encouraged to separate their plasterboard waste for recovery and recycling. This reduces the potential for the production of hydrogen sulphate gas whilst at the same time controlling disposal costs. Ask our team for advice on the best way to segregate your waste to best effect.
