Service Account Manager

Principal Duties and Outputs

To encourage and take orders via telephone and email and to identify the customers’ needs and select appropriate equipment.

To provide advice to the customer as appropriate.

To record information accurately using bespoke in house systems whilst highlighting the unique requirements of each job and maintain customer CRM records.

To work on a number of jobs at any one time and to prioritise and maintain the accuracy of each job.

To receive and request training on the products and services offered and to talk knowledgably about these to customers.

You will recognise and pursue new opportunities using the CRM whilst developing relationships and rapport with decision makers. You will ensure the customer receives exceptional service and will get what they want, when they want it.

You will work closely with your colleagues to ensure appropriate and seamless support for your customers.

You will seek and spot opportunities for additional sales and explore ways to ensure that these sales are delivered within the business even though you might not deliver the orders yourself.

Purpose of the role

The purpose of the role is to achieve revenue and gross profit targets by retaining and growing customer accounts through exceptional customer service.

This role will contribute to building Nationwide Hire’s growth target and reputation for reliable delivery and great service.

Reporting Lines and Staff

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be working in a team of Service Account Managers and Buyers collectively working towards company objectives.

You will work with the Team Leader to develop your Account Management expertise, effectiveness and skills.
